Dependency Visa UK:
You can apply for Dependent Visa if you have family in the UK, and you can support them financially, or your sponsor is a British citizen or settled status in the UK and lives in the UK. You will need to provide your sponsor with a letter from the Home Office confirming their relationship with you.
The process for applying for a Dependency Visa UK is the same as for an Intra-Company Transfer Visa, with the exception that you need to provide proof that your sponsor is willing and able to support you financially.
You can apply for your Dependent Visa from the UK at the same time as you apply for your Sponsor Visa. You can only apply for your Dependent Visa if you are over 18 and your Sponsor Visa is for 5 years or more.
The Dependent Visa requires you to meet the same English language and health and character requirements as the Sponsor category. It also requires you to support your family financially, which means that you must have a sponsor who will co-sign your visa application.
You can also apply for a Dependent Visa if you have a child who is UK Citizen or will become a British citizen but you are not sure you can meet the cost of their care and maintenance, or if you have a child who is not a British citizen but you believe they may have a right to reside in the UK.
