Tier1 Investor Visa UK
The Tier1 Investor Visa UK is designed to enable investors who will make a substantial financial investment in the UK economy to enter or live in the UK.
To qualify for a Tier 1 Investor visa applicants must be able to show that point :
• They intend to invest at least £2 million in share capital or debt capital in UK companies.
• The investment fund belongs to him or her spouse, civil partner, or unmarried partner.
• They have had the money for at least two years or, if not, meet Home Office rules on the source of the money (for example, the money is from a gift, the proceeds of the sale of an estate, a business, inheritance, a financial reward, a
divorce settlement).
• He has opened a UK bank account with a regulated UK bank.
The investment funds must be:
• Held in one or more regulated financial institutions.
• Freely available for spending and investing in the UK .The Home Office can check that the funds are from a reliable and legitimate source and that the applicant has control of the funds.
